Will Coronation Street killer Rob Donovan get a Halloween comeuppance at his wedding to Tracy Barlow?
The dramatic conclusion of Coronation Street’s latest murder storyline is set to fall on Halloween night - finally bringing the truth to the whole of Weatherfield about the real killer of Tina McIntyre.
Viewers have known that Tina, played by Michelle Keegan, was bludgeoned to death by Rob Donovan since back in May.
But since then it has been a rollercoaster ride of accusations, recriminations and the wrongful conviction of poor old Peter Barlow for the murder.
Soap bosses have revealed that Friday night’s episodes will finally see the truth come out - after Rob earlier this week confessed to sister Carla that he committed the terrible crime.
Viewers were left on the edge of their seats with a classic soap cliffhanger on Wednesday, with Carla about to reveal who she had told before those end credits rolled.
So Friday night’s double-header will bring the moment of truth for Rob as he faces his fiancee Tracy Barlow about the secret he has been hiding for months.
And the big question remains - will she go ahead and marry her guilty lover anyway? Tracy herself is a convicted murderer, so she may well have it within her heart to forgive Rob.
Soap bosses have confirmed that the character of Rob will go on the run after the wedding scenes - but will Tracy join him?

A killer on the run and a catfight between the bride and ‘best bird’ - it’s all about to go down in Coronation Street as Rob’s secret finally comes out on his wedding day.
Having confessed to sister Carla that it was him who killed Tina, not Carla’s estranged husband and his bride-to-be’s brother Peter, the murderer groom faced an anxious wait to see whether she will protect him or shop him to the police.
Rob may have been able to live with his guilt - but Carla couldn’t, and last night’s episode saw her make the hardest decision of her life, to dob him in.
Needless to say, Tracy won’t be happy that her big day is ruined - but it’s not her murderous fiance she’ll be most angry at.
In a sneak preview of tomorrow’s showdown, we see the furious bride grappling with Carla while a frantic Rob jumps a fence and flees the venue before he can be arrested.
“Tracy 100 per cent blames Carla,” actress Kate Ford, who plays the bride, said.
“She can’t understand how it’s anyone’s fault but Carla’s. She feels like she should have kept her mouth shut.”
Will the star-crossed lovers make it up the aisle before the police arrive, and will Tracy forsake her family and go with him? We’ll have to wait and see.
One thing is for sure, - Tracy will be out for revenge on Carla.
“This woman has taken away her chance of happiness,” she said.
“Tracy resents her for it. She wants to take away her happiness.”
She’s not the only one angry with Carla - Rob will never forgive his sister for her betrayal.
Actor Marc Baylis said: “It’s the most heartbreaking thing that could have happened to Rob because as soon as that happens, the house of cards collapses.”
Alison King, who plays Carla, added: “She gets on with it and survives because she knows she’s done the right thing, but she’s also grieving because she knows Rob will never forgive her.read more: sheindressau.com
